Is the warehouse open for shopping?

With an ever changing inventory, we open the warehouse a few days each month for browsing and in-person appointments. Open days and hours are shared on social media, @coleville_home on Instagram. Or you can contact our team at info@colevillehome.com to schedule an appointment. 

Is the item I see the exact piece I will receive?

Yes. Unlike mass-produced furniture, antiques are one-of-a-kind pieces, and the item pictured is the exact item you will receive.

Can you hold an item for me?

We offer a 2-day hold with security deposit before full payment is due. Items purchased and designated for local pick up are held for 7 days. After the first week, a $30/ day storage fee is applied. 

Do you accept offers?

We welcome reasonable offers on many pieces. Please feel free to contact us if you'd like to discuss pricing.

Can you provide additional photos or videos?

Yes. We are happy to provide additional photos, measurements, or video walkthroughs so you can purchase with confidence.

Are your pieces restored?

Some pieces are lightly restored or stabilized to ensure they are structurally sound while preserving their original character.

We avoid over-restoring antiques so that the original patina and history remain intact.

How do I care for antique furniture?

We recommend:

• Dusting with a soft cloth
• Avoiding direct sunlight
• Keeping away from extreme humidity or dryness
• Occasional wax or polish appropriate for antique wood

Avoid harsh cleaners or silicone-based products.

Why buy antiques instead of new furniture?

Do you offer shipping?

Yes. We offer locally delivery to New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and nationally shipping throughout the United States.

Depending on the piece, shipping may be handled through:

• White-glove furniture carriers
• Blanket-wrap antique shippers
• UPS / FedEx for smaller items

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs vary depending on the size of the piece and delivery location

For many pieces, we cover all shipping costs and coordinate the most reliable delivery option available. For larger pieces outside of regular freight routes, shipping prices vary. 

If you'd like a quote before purchasing, simply send us your zip code.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping timelines vary by carrier.

For purchases with local delivery in the tri-state area, you can expect your piece to be delivered within 7-10 days of purchase.  

For items shipped with national carriers, typical delivery windows are:

Small parcels: 3–7 days
Furniture freight: 2–6 weeks

Furniture carriers schedule delivery routes based on region.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes. Local pickup is available by appointment at our warehouse in Pleasantville, NY.  Please be sure to measure the opening of your trunk, as well as the interior width - we’ve learned that lesson the hard way! 

Contact stephanie@colevillehome.com after purchasing your item to coordinate a pickup time and receive a refund for shipping costs.

Do you accept returns?

We want to ensure you love your piece. You have 14 days from delivery to initiate a return request with info@colevillehome.com  The item must be in the same condition delivered. Buyers are responsible for full return freight + 10% restocking fee.  

If an item arrives damaged or significantly misrepresented, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Please inspect your item upon delivery.

If there is damage:

  1. Note it on the delivery receipt
  2. Take photos
  3. Contact us within 24 hours

We will work with the carrier to resolve the claim.
