The rectangular top retains original inset green leather writing surface with decorative gilt tooling around the perimeter. Original brass ring pulls and escutcheons. Three frieze drawers span the upper section, while twin pedestals provide an abundance of storage with graduated drawers flanking a central kneehole. The recessed arched panel cupboard door within the kneehole is an especially attractive architectural feature, adding visual interest and utility.
